The grapes are harvested by hand in the second week of October at the cru Montanello in Castiglione Falletto, facing southeast.
Aged for 24 months on foudres of Slavonian oak with a capacity of 5,000 liters.
The Montanello has an intense ruby red color.
In the nose it is floral with hints of spice, chocolate and fruit.
This Barolo has a strong character: intense, persistent, full and elegant with savory but light tannins.
