The first biodynamic vintage of this prestigious Barolo from winery Rivetto, made from 100% Nebbiolo. The wine is aged for 30 months in carefully selected oak barrels from Slovakia, Hungary and Switzerland, adding to its complexity and refinement.
In the glass, the wine radiates a deep garnet red color. The nose is seduced by a layered aroma of small red fruit, licorice, black pepper, cocoa and cedar.
On the palette, this Barolo shows itself powerful and structured, but with exceptional elegance and refined tannins. The long, complex finish reflects the unique character of Serralunga d’Alba.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Rivetto
Rivetto is run by Enrico and is the only biodynamic winery in Barolo. Enrico will tell you more about it here: I, Enrico, am a farmer, a basketball fan and a free spirit. I work and live in Lirano, a biodynamic garden in the Langa of Barolo, between the hills of Sinio and Serralunga d’Alba. I grow vines, fruit trees, herbs and grains. I believe that wine is magical because it gives me a chance to be heard. And I can tell people about a new way of looking at the land and how it is worked. A way to sincerely celebrate the beauty and harmony of nature.
