Nurturing a tradition.
After the success of Profumo di Vulcano, I felt the urge to create a more accessible wine, to share the fruits of my labor with a wider audience, both connoisseurs and ordinary wine lovers.
This is why I acquired new vineyards on the northern slope, in the “denominazione di origine” area, in a beautiful district with a winemaking tradition more than two thousand years old. It is from this sandy, rocky soil that my Etna Rosso was born. It is a wine that speaks the language of its land and embodies its spirit. A pure glass of authenticity.
First, the grapes are picked by hand. Then they undergo spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, followed by aging in steel for 12 months and 6 months of bottle aging.
The wine has a bright, transparent and ruby red color.
The bouquet is fragrant, opening with notes of strawberry and raspberry and quickly embraced by a citrusy freshness of tangerine and a slight mineral touch. Finally, there is a nuance of white chocolate mixed with precious white pepper and cardamom.
On the palate, the wine is particularly fresh and refreshing, with a lively and harmonious tannic structure. The finish is pleasantly clean and juicy, but also attractive and lively.
