The vineyard from which Campo Aperto DOCG Riserva emerges is located in Località Boschi, Lapio, at an altitude of 550 meters above sea level. This vineyard, smaller than one hectare, has limestone-clay soils and faces southeast. The cool, continental climate and suitable soils allow the Fiano to mature while maintaining freshness and refined elegance. The manual harvest usually takes place in October, after which the grapes are gently pressed and macerate for several days on the skins. After fermentation in steel vats, the wine matures for at least a year on the fine lees of yeast and completes its evolution in the bottle before release.
The wine has an intense straw yellow color with golden nuances and a complex bouquet of fruit, Mediterranean herbs, basil and mint, with a strong mineral accent. On the palate, the wine is full, pleasant and dynamic, with mineral and Mediterranean notes, good acidity and high potential for aging in the bottle.
