Joaquin Piante a Lapio N.V. is a new project by Joaquin Sarl that stems from Raffaele Pagano’s constant desire to transcend and experiment. This bottle completely transcends the concept of “Cru”; in this case, the chosen reference plot was Piante a Lapio in Località Boschi. The label represents one of the most beautiful and promising vineyards in the entire appellation.
Thanks to the forest behind the vineyard, which regulates and mitigates temperature fluctuations, and to the incredible slope and position of the vineyard, the site produces grapes of very high quality, among the best in the entire area.
The N.V. label wanted to dedicate the winery to a very high level of quality that, along with class and harmony, combines two beautifully opposite but complementary vintages, 2014 and 2020. This marriage has allowed the winery to obtain a wine that has the ingredients of a wine that surpasses any other Fiano production to date, guaranteeing maximum balance, harmony, complexity and longevity.

The vineyards are 550 meters above sea level and the vines have an average age of 35 years. The wine matures first in chestnut and acacia tonneaux and then in bottle for at least one year.

The color is golden yellow, with bright highlights.

The nose opens with soft aromas of ripe yellow fruit, citrus citrus notes and nuances of vanilla and toasted almond.

Taste impression

Rich, creamy, mineral and harmonious. The palate has an important structure, with wonderful expressive intensity, supported by a lively framework of freshness, closing with savory and mineral flavors.
