The Langhe Nebbiolo is a wine derived from grapes grown near Castiglione Falletto, in the same vineyards where Barolo’s come from. The difference is that the grapes of the Langhe Nebbiolo come from sections that are colder and do not fall under the Barolo appellation. The grapes are hand-picked and then aged in wood for 18 months. Finally, refinement of the wine follows in the bottle.
The wine has a vibrant red color.
In the nose, the wine has fruity and earthy aromas.
The Langhe Nebbiolo has a beautiful refined and fresh structure.
The wine goes very well with pasta and risotto, as well as meat dishes, where it develops its intrinsic characteristics.
