Marche tasting box

Try a tasting box composed by us of wines from the relatively unknown Italian region of Le Marche. This tasting box consists of 2 red and 4 white wines.

In central Italy lies the region of Le Marche, east of Tuscany on the Adriatic coast. Le Marche have a diverse landscape with beautiful beaches, hills and mountains where you can ski in winter. In terms of wine, the region is best known for the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi in the North of Le Marche where the vineyards are located in an area of beautiful green hills. Beautiful fresh wines are made here from the Verdicchio grape. Further south around Offida in Le Marche, small(er) producers are making beautiful distinctive white wines from grapes such as the Passerina and Pecorino that are becoming increasingly well known. Beautiful red wines are also made here such as Rosso Piceno, a blend of Sangiovese and Montepulciano.
