Cayega represents Tenuta Carretta’s present and future: a wine that is balanced and complex, with a firm structure and a long finish. It is perfect for any occasion and offers a wonderful interpretation of the potential of the symbolic variety of this area.
The grapes for Cayega are hand-picked and then the wine is aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks. The duration of maceration depends on the quality of the harvest.
The Roero Arneis Cayega presents itself with a golden yellow color accompanied by green reflections.
In the nose, aromas of pear, peach and flint emerge.
On the pallet, the wine shows balance and complexity, with a firm structure and a long finish, with citrusy notes coming to the fore.
Serving temperature: 8-10° C
Tenuta Carretta
