Etna Bianco Mareneve Federico Graziani

Terre Siciliane Bianco “Mareneve” I.G.T.

“A passion that crosses every boundary.

Mareneve is the result of an idea as simple as it was daring, namely, planting a vineyard at extreme altitude to find out how the vines respond to cold climates and volcanic soil at high altitude. I have always thought of wine as a kind of living thing: an element that changes to reflect our society and constantly evolves with it.

So I decided to try it myself and interpret the vineyard in my own way. My goal was to create a connection between tradition and innovation and to help promote a time-honored and irreplaceable craft.”

Vinification

After the grapes are harvested by hand, spontaneous fermentation takes place in steel vats with indigenous yeasts. No malolactic fermentation takes place.
There follows refinement in steel for 12 months on fine lees, finally the wine matures for 6 months in bottle.

Colour

Bright platinum color, with greenish nuances.

Odor

The aromas are intense and slightly aromatic, with notes of fresh tropical fruit, pineapple, white peach and lychee. But also white musk, rose, lemon granita, lava stone and salt.

Taste impression

Harmonious to the palate, while the wine is extremely crispy, refined and sharp. These taste sensations are reminiscent of the freshness of the snow and the saltiness of the Mediterranean.

Culinary advice

Delicious to pair with raw whitefish dishes, seafood, oysters and wild asparagus.
