Phileo is derived from Philomena, the woman who substantially shaped Falkenstein and is an inspiration to future generations. This wine is a tribute to the mother of the current owner, Franz Pratzner.
Fermentation in barriques, aging for 12 months in French barriques and 5 months in steel tanks, followed by 31 months of bottle aging.
Taste: straw yellow in color, the bouquet reveals aromas of ripe golden apple and winter melon. On the palate full, fresh and balanced with a medium finish.
Serving temperature: 10-13°C.
