Cà Dei Maghi's Ripasso 10 anni is made according to family tradition only in the best years and only comes to market after 10 years... A must try.

The Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso "Canova" is initially made from fresh grapes and amarone ripasso, both from the same vineyard. The wine is then aged for 48 months in large barrels.

In the glass, this wine from Cà Dei Maghi has a ruby color with slight garnet reflections.

The aromas of this Ripasso 10 anni consist mainly of ripe fruit.

On the palate, this Ripasso "Canova" reveals great finesse and elegance with hints of cherries and blueberries. Yet at times this wine can also be visceral and austere. In short, this is a heraldic Ripasso made from a few free-standing vines.

Serving temperature: 16-18° C

Cà Dei Maghi

Cà Dei Maghi is an old family winery with an enchanting name meaning "house of magic" in Italian, located on a picturesque hill in Fumane, Valpolicella. Led by Paolo Creazzi, the winery produces mostly famous red wines, including Valpolicella, Ripasso and Amarone. Noteworthy, however, is also the production of white wines, a rarity in Valpolicella, such as Barabao from the Garganega grape and Camparsi from the Trebbiano. Paolo, in his own unique way, shapes these wines by finding a harmony between tradition and innovation. The results are his unique, highly regarded Valpolicellas, Ripasso's and Amarone's, characterized by their juiciness and clarity. With Paolo, the essence of the grapes is central.
