Vernaccia di San Gimignano “Assola” D.O.C.G.

Terre di Sovernaja’s Vernaccia di San Gimignano Riserva Assola is produced with grapes selected from the company’s oldest vineyard. Everything is harvested by hand, and vinification of the free-range must and aging always take place in concrete vats. Production is minimal, with about 1,300 bottles per year.

The wine has a straw yellow color. In the nose, hints of white flowers, pink grapefruit, apricot and anise emerge, along with iodine and mineral notes. On the palate, the wine is lively, fresh and dry, savory and medium-bodied, with pronounced persistence.
