Adamo

About the winery

Welcome to Adamo, a Sicilian family winery producing authentic, organic wines at the historic Baglio Florio. Housed in a 19th-century agricultural complex near Calatafimi Segesta, Adamo Bio combines generations of agricultural tradition with respect for nature and terroir. Each product – from wine to vermouth and liqueurs – reflects the Mediterranean character of the region, with love, attention and honesty as driving values.

Brothers

History

The origins of Adamo Bio date back to the early 20th century, when the Adamo brothers began their agricultural practices with determination and a love for the land. In the 1930s, the family acquired the iconic Baglio Florio from the Florio family—a stately baglio built in 1875, originally with its own railway lines and fermentation tanks. Since then, it has been both a symbol and foundation of the house, where agricultural traditions come to life, now with an organic, contemporary twist.

Terroir, Tours, and Experience

Adamo Bio cultivates indigenous grapes on chalky slopes, sheltered from sea and mountain winds, producing characterful and balanced organic wines. Visitors are invited to enjoy unique experiences: from guided walks through vineyards and olive groves to tastings of local delicacies such as crostini, oil, and Adamo pâté. All this in the historic setting of Baglio Florio, where architecture and land come together for a memorable experience of tranquility.
