For the Monchiero family, the Barolo Rocche di Castiglione is invaluable, as this wine comes from one of their oldest vineyards, called “Rocche di Castiglione.” Grapes from this prestigious vineyard are hand-picked in the third week of October, a sign of care and commitment to quality. After harvest, the wine undergoes a traditional three-year aging in oak barrels, during which its complexity and character blossom. The Barolo Rocche di Castiglione shines with its intense ruby red color, a beautiful tribute to its deep heritage. Upon approaching the wine, the nose is welcomed with fruity aromas accompanied by subtle notes of brushwood and earthy nuances, revealing an intriguing depth.
