The Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso DOC Camparsi is an elegant and complex wine, from the vineyards of Camparsi in the municipality of Fumane. This wine is made exclusively from indigenous grape varieties: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara.

What makes this Ripasso special is the refermentation on the dried grape skins of Amarone from the same vineyard. This process gives the wine extra depth, structure and aromatic intensity. The wine then ages for 24 months in small oak barrels, adding to its complexity and refinement.

In the glass, the wine shows a brilliant ruby color. In the nose, delicate aromas of slightly wilted red flowers, such as wild violets and rose hip, emerge, complemented by subtle notes of black currant. On the palate, the wine is supple and broad, with lively and elegant tannins that provide a refined structure. The finish is long and persistent, with a perfect balance between freshness and depth.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C

Cà Dei Maghi

Cà Dei Maghi in Valpolicella is an old family business with an enchanting name that means “house of magic” in Italian. Cà Dei Maghi is located on a picturesque hill in the village of Fumane in Valpolicella. Led by Paolo Creazzi, the winery mainly produces famous red wines, including Valpolicella, Ripasso and Amarone. Noteworthy, however, is also the production of white wines, a rarity in Valpolicella, such as Barabao from the Garganega grape and Camparsi from the Trebbiano. Paolo, in his own unique way, shapes these wines by finding a harmony between tradition and innovation. The result are his unique, highly rated Valpolicellas, Ripasso’s and Amarone’s, which are characterized by their juiciness and clarity. At Paolo, the essence of the grapes is central.
