Etna Deluxe tasting box

Try a tasting box composed by us with wines from Etna in Sicily. This tasting box consists of 4 red and 2 white wines.

Etna is Europe's last active volcano and has a special microclimate. Etna's most famous red grape is the Nerello Mascalese, which grows up to 1,000 meters above sea level. In recent years, Etna has become a magnet for terroir-conscious winemakers, many seeing Etna as the new "Côte D'or." Consequently, there are many wineries and winemakers from other parts of Italy who have decided to invest in Etna in recent years. Italian names such as Giovanni Rosso, Andrea Franchetti, Angelo Gaja and Alberto Graci. But there are also foreign investors such as Belgian Franc Cornelissen and US wine importer Marc de Grazia. One of (or the) Sicilian wine guru who has played a major role in bringing back the reputation of Etna wines is Salvo Foti. Salvo Foti (of IVingneri) is also associated with two of our wineries: He is the winemaker of ICustodi and a close friend of former best sommelier in Italy: Federico Graziani.
