Cà Dei Maghi’s Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, from the vineyards of Camparsi in the municipality of Fumane, is a remarkably light interpretation of this iconic wine style. The vineyard’s soil, consisting of limestone and marl, contributes to the unique characteristics of this Amarone Classico, which is characterized by its fruity aromas with subtle hints of herbs and peppers. The grapes are harvested by hand and then carefully dried for 3 months before undergoing a 36-month aging period in small wooden barrels. The elegant ruby color of this Amarone Classico invites discovery. Vibrant aromas emerge in the nose, ranging from juicy plums to rich espresso, illuminated by the cool morning light. Delicate notes of rose petals and tamarind add sophisticated complexity to the bouquet. At the first sip, the Amarone Classico reveals dry tannins that are in perfect harmony with the depth of fruit, resulting in a wine that moves effortlessly through the mouth, offering shape and structure without being overwhelming. The distinctive fruit of Cà Dei Maghi fills the mouth with juicy flavors, creating a perfect balance between lively freshness and refined lightness. This unique Amarone is a real treat for lovers of the style, but will also surprise those who do not normally enjoy Amarone, thanks to its accessible yet complex character. Serving temperature: 16-18° C

Cà Dei Maghi

Cà Dei Maghi in Valpolicella is an old family business with an enchanting name that means “house of magic” in Italian. Cà Dei Maghi is located on a picturesque hill in the village of Fumane in Valpolicella. Led by Paolo Creazzi, the winery mainly produces famous red wines, including Valpolicella, Ripasso and Amarone. Noteworthy, however, is also the production of white wines, a rarity in Valpolicella, such as Barabao from the Garganega grape and Camparsi from the Trebbiano. Paolo, in his own unique way, shapes these wines by finding a harmony between tradition and innovation. The result are his unique, highly rated Valpolicellas, Ripasso’s and Amarone’s, which are characterized by their juiciness and clarity. At Paolo, the essence of the grapes is central.
