Marche tasting box

Try a tasting box composed by us with wines from the relatively unknown Italian region of Le Marche. This tasting box consists of 2 red and 4 white wines.

In central Italy lies the region of Le Marche, east of Tuscany on the Adriatic coast. Le Marche have a diverse landscape with beautiful beaches, hills and mountains where you can ski in winter. In terms of wine, the region is best known for the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi in the north of Le Marche where the vineyards are located in an area with beautiful green hills. Here beautiful fresh wines are made from the Verdicchio grape. More to the south around Offida in Le Marche, small(er) producers make beautiful distinctive white wines from grapes such as the Passerina and Pecorino which are becoming more and more famous. Beautiful red wines are also made here such as Rosso Piceno, a blend of Sangiovese and Montepulciano.
