The grapes for the Rosso Piceno "Trufo" are picked by hand in mid-September. After picking, they are destemmed and pressed. They then undergo a long fermentation with the skin in steel vats for 15 days. This is followed by délestage and aging in barriques for 2 years. Finally, the wine is refined in bottle for another 6 months.

Ripawine's Rosso Piceno has an intense ruby color with purple hues and dense arches.

The nose is very intense with hints of ripe red fruits such as blackberries, blueberries, currants and jams.

On the palate, the wine is round, full-bodied and warm. The high alcohol content is noticeable, but the tannins present are tempered in a pleasant softness. The wine has good persistence and in the finish a clear aromatic similarity to the aromatic sensations emerges.

Serving temperature: 18-20° C
